When writing to the church in Philippi the Apostle Paul said, “you are all partakers of my grace” (Philippians 1:7). He was basically telling them that the blessing, anointing, revelation, and gifting that he walked in would operate in their lives also. A covenant relationship with God and an anointed minister of God is a key component to prospering and succeeding in life, as we see in the following verse; “Believe in the LORD your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.” (2 Chronicles 20:20)

For example, in biblical times a fishing village might make covenant with a nearby village of warriors. The fishing village needs protection and the warriors need food, so there is a viable reason for joining forces. Covenant relationships are central to carrying out the Lord’s plan for our lives.
